Baysports is an outdoor adventure centre in Athlone, County Roscommon and is proud to hold the Guinness World Record for the tallest inflatable floating waterslide in the world: the round tower slide.

The most popular attraction is the waterpark, where patrons can enjoy the dizzying heights and the challenging climbs of the tower slides. There are junior waterpark and main waterparks in which to gain and build confidence in and around the water with the safety of wetsuits and lifejackets no matter your level of swimming ability. The experience is sure to be memorable for all the right reasons, so safety, comfort, and enjoyment are of paramount importance.

Kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, pedal boating, rafting, dragon boating, boat trips, and powerboat courses are all on the menu at Baysports, and wetsuits are available to hire. A small shop is onsite selling tea, coffee, and confectionery. There are also picnic benches available, offering the perfect place to perch on a warm summer’s day.

It is recommended to bring a towel, spare socks, a swimsuit, and a wetsuit if available.
